ISLAMABAD - Bahria University and Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to become official partners in promoting research and evidence related to HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support and halting and reversing the spread of HIV.

The contract signing ceremony was held in Bahria University Headquarters Islamabad where the Rector Bahria University, Vice Admiral (r) Shahid Iqbal and the Country Coordinator for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Marc Saba signed the contract.

This agreement would help Bahria University to move a step further in contributing towards the overall good of the society by working in coordination with UNAIDS, the leading advocate for worldwide action against HIV/AIDS. 

Bahria University and UNAIDS will be working in the areas of capacity building at institutional and academic level, where both the staff and faculty of Bahria University will actively participate.
