ISLAMABAD - Pak-India Business Forum Amin Hashwani said on Wednesday that joint trade ventures between India and Pakistan would help enhance confidence building amongst them.

Talking to PTV, he termed Pak-India meeting as a positive development but he said this is an initial phase so both the countries should not pin high hopes and expectations with each other.

He said there is no harm in providing access of Indian industries to Pakistani industries as it could be possible to remove apprehension existed between India and Pakistan added that trade can be beneficial in all the cases.

He added that if Pakistan would allow access to Indian industrialist, in return India would also remove non tariff barriers for Pakistan. He further said that this is a wrong impression that in the case of trade with India, other matters such as Sir Creek, Siachen, and Kashmir would be neglected.
