OUR STAFF REPORTER BUREWALA - Hawaldar Muhammad Aslam, martyred amongst 24 officials of Pakistan Army in Nato forces attack in Mohmand Agency, was laid to rest here at his native village Chak 513/EB Mian Channu Road Burewala with full military honours the other day. Hawaldar Muhammad Aslam, son of Muhammad Sarwar, was father of a minor daughter. Martyred Aslam belongs to 7-Azad Jammu Kashmir Regiment of 19-Division of Pakistan Army. Pak Army 31 Core Bahawalpur Brigadier Muhammad Furqan, Colonel Muhammad Waqas Malik, Major Faraz Nawaz, Captain Muhammad Adnan, Lieutenant Zaheer Ahmad, MNA Asghar Ali Jatt, Burewala Bar Association President Mehar Tahir Amjad, Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajraan President Muhammad Jameel Bhatti attended the funeral prayer. An army contingent gave guard of honour to the martyr and floral wreaths were placed on his grave on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari, Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and the GOC of 19-Division. The family members of the martyr said that Muhammad Aslam sacrificed his life for the sack of the country, adding that they would never refrain from giving sacrifices for the country.
