KARACH - Provincial Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon has said that Sharif brothers are traitors to Sindh and they had been obstacles to the progress of Sindh during their tenure. “PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif rolled back important Thar Coal Project and now he is talking about the rights of Sindh.” He said this while holding an open court here at Nangar Parkar on Friday. He said that the people of Sindh had already rejected Nawaz Sharif. That's why he (Nawaz Sharif) could not get a single seat from Sindh. Sharif brothers were in favour of Kalabagh Dam. Now they were unable to bear the development of Sindh and how could they change the destiny of Sindh when they were not sincere to the people of Sindh, he added. He added, “If they are honest, why they have taken stay order against their cases and why judges cannot look into the corruption cases of Sharif brothers.” The minister advised the people not to follow a cricketer who with the financial support of Jews and Israel wanted to occupy power. “Ayaz Latif Palijo had announced to contest election from Nagaparkar I ask him that in last elections he contested from Sanghar and was able to secure 500 votes only and how could he face me in coming election.”He said Pakistan People’s Party is the largest and most popular political party of the country and it is the party which can defend the rights of Sindh in a befitting manner. “Present government has provided one 1,00,000 jobs to youth in Sindh and has done record development work. PPP is a democratic party and believes in serving masses.”He said that the opposition had fear from the popularity of PPP and is doing wrong propaganda against government but they could not misguide the masses through their processions and sit-ins. He warned the ghost teachers to come to their duties and teach the students. He also directed the police officials to maintain law and order in the district and recover the stolen goods at the earliest. He announced that a trauma centre would be established in Nagarparkar. On this occasion, he listened public complaints against revenue, education, police and local bodies departments and directed officers concerned to resolve these issues within one week.
