LAHORE – The Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan is going to inaugurate K&N’s cooking competition on Saturday (today) at main convention Hall, Expo Centre Lahore.

The K&N’s CEO Khalil Sattar along with distinguished guests will distribute gifts to winners of the cooking competition and will brief the media about the poultry industry.

K&N’s-sponsored cooking competition has been the main event for many years and womenfolk including students of colleges, universities and housewives specially participate in the competition with fervour.

Khalil Sattar said his organisation is a founding pillar and beacon for Pakistan’s poultry industry, it started in 1964 with a single-minded objective of providing better nutrition for health to nation.

K&N’s integrated poultry operations include poultry breeding, hatching, feed milling, broiler growing, poultry processing, and production of ready-to-cook and fully cooked chicken products.

K&N’s Quality Assurance Lab monitors and regulates the integrated poultry operations to ensure its chicken products are wholesome, safe and healthy.

K&N’s manages its own product distribution (including Pakistan’s most extensive cold-chain distribution system) and a chain of chicken stores for its range of chicken products.

He said poultry farming is the single largest rural job provider, engaging workers directly or indirectly and is engaged in socio-economic uplift of the rural population. He said government will provide all out support to strengthen the poultry sector in the country.

Meanwhile, Adil Sattar of K&N’s also received an award from Governor Punjab Latif Khan Khosa for producing best in class chicken products in the market.
