LAHORE - The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched its Directory of Trade and Industry that is one of the major contributions LCCI made for the enhancement of business activities.

The data of LCCI 18000 firms has been classified into six main business categories covering manufacturers, exporters, importers, traders, indenters and service-rendering agencies. These categories have been further divided into business sectors and business sub-sectors. The directory has 24000 entries of its 18000 members. This time in particular, the LCCI has produced a comprehensive trade information directory, which by all means should form an essential reference compendium for every firm having business interests in Pakistan.

The LCCI President Irfan Qaiser Sheikh, Senior Vice President Kashif Younis Meher and Vice President Saeeda Nazar said that LCCI is the only chamber in the country that regularly publishes Directory of its members.  They said that LCCI directory has been designed to help business entrepreneurs to know about the businesses.

They said that this new trade directory will enable the business community to be more involved with the economic development activities. He said that the directory will help customers and suppliers to connect each other and help tracking the right business partner, explore new markets and evaluating price trends.
