LAHORE - Federal Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Farooq H Naek called on Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa at the Governor’s House on Friday afternoon.

Sources in Governor’s House said both the legal wizards had extensive discussion on the draft of the much-talked about letter to be written to the Swiss authorities in compliance with the Supreme Court orders in respect of NRO implementation case.

The two reportedly prepared a carefully drafted letter addressing the concerns of both the federation as well as those of the apex court. It would be submitted before the prime minister for final approval.   

Meanwhile, MNA and President Zardari’s sister Faryal Talpur arrived in the City on Friday evening and held informal meetings with party legislators.

As per sources, the issue of development funds for MPs dominated the discussion besides party matter. The legislators complained about delay in release of the funds for their constituencies.

She would start her political activities at the Governor’s House on Saturday (today). On Sunday, she would distribute cheques among the affected of Band Road factory blaze.

Earlier, on her arrival at Allama Iqbal International Airport, she was received by Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa and PPP leaders.
