RAWALPINDI – The missing building plan of Central Jail Adiala has been recovered after one year, though the jail admin did not disclose from where they found them.

Sources said that, owing to possible terrorist attacks and threats, Special Branch Rawalpindi, in its report, had recommended Punjab government to make strict security arrangements, besides some necessary construction in Adiala Jail a year back. But when the construction firm asked the jail administration to provide building plan to start construction in this connection, the authorities failed to provide the plan, saying that they did not have the plan.

Later, concerned department of Punjab government, Public Works Department (PWD), was written a letter to provide the concerned plan.

PWD officers upon failure to present building plan submitted an application in Westridge Police Station of missing building plan of Adiala Jail. The matter was referred to ASI Shoukat of Naseerabad Choki and the issue was being investigated.

It is pertinent to mention here that a high rank officer of PWD informed police officials the other day about the recovery of the missing building plan of Adiala Jail and asked to stop the process.
