QUETTA - A man was killed and eleven others wounded in three separate incidents of firing in Nushki and Quetta on Friday.

According to police, unidentified armed men riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate fire in main Nushki bazaar and fled away from the scene. A person Muhammad Iqbal was killed and two others Habibullah and Noor Ahmed sustained injuries. Police moved the body and injured ones to nearby hospital. Motive behind the killing is stated to be an old enmity.

In another incident, five people were wounded when some armed men opened fire on a van in Hana Lake area.

 The attackers managed to escape. The police rushed to the spot soon after the incident took place and cordoned off the area. The injured were taken to the CMH for treatment. A case has been registered against the unidentified persons.

In another incident, at least four people including a tribal leader were wounded in an armed attack by Taliban in Zhob district of Balochistan bordering Waziristan. Armed Taliban targeted the people of Kabzai tribe with rockets and sophisticated weapons. Sources said that an attacker was also among the injured persons who were shifted to hospital. The local administration rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. However, no arrest was made in this connection.
