LAHORE – A programme was organised by Tourism and Hospitality Management team at the Punjab University College of Earth and Environmental Sciences (CEES) to celebrate the World Tourism Day.

College Principal Prof Firdaus-e-Bareen highlighted the importance of tourism for Pakistan and also the current status and future plans about the Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) programme.

The coordinator of THM programme, Muhammad Kamran and Prof Muhammad Nawaz also spoke on the occasion. Finally, the chief guest Akhtar Mummunka briefed the gathering about the tourism in Pakistan and its future. All the faculty members and a number of students of THM programme of college and from other institutions were also present on the occasion. Also, the Punjab University BA/BSc Supplementary Examination 2012 will commence from October 4 for which roll number slips had been dispatched to all candidates on their addresses.

If any candidate has not received slip, he / she can receive the duplicate slip from BA/BSc Section, Exams Department New Campus.

BISE to announce Inter Part-I result on Oct 2: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) will declare the results of Intermediate (Part-I) Annual Examination 2012 on October 2. Result gazette in the form of a CD priced at Rs100 would be available from the sale depot of the Board.

Meanwhile, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) will remain open on Saturday (today) for MS/MPhil and PhD admission.  Today (Saturday) is the last date for purchase/submission of admission forms. The list of eligible candidates for the entry test will be displayed on October 3 and the entry test will be on October 4.

The list of students who will pass in the entry test will be displayed on October 8.
