KARACHI - All Parties Conference (APC) on Wednesday demanded judicial investigation of the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti and other Baloch leaders including Sher Mohammad Baloch, Ghulam Mohammad Baloch and Lala Muneer. The leaders of various political and religious parties also emphasised the judicial probe for the missing people of Balochistan including women, and urged the government to release them. APC asked the government to end the concurrent list and give rights to the provinces including Balochistan under the constitution of Pakistan. They said that Baloch people should be made owner of the resources of Balochistan province , adding that the use of such resources should be made with the consent of Balochi people. Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi has organised All Parties Conference at JI Karachi office Idara-e-Noor Haq entitled Balochistan Operation and conspiracies, where Jamaat-e-Islami leader Prof Ghafoor Ahmed, PML-N leader Mir Nawaz Khan Marwat , Siddique Rathor of JUP, Zia Abbas of National People Party Yousuf Masti Khan from NWFP, Yousuf Baleedi from National Party , PDP Basharat Mirza, PIT Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi, Mohammad Hussain Mehanti of JI, Aftab Qadri of ST, Waqas Balcoh son of Sher Mohammad Balcoh and others addressed the APC. Speaking at the APC, Naib Ameer of JI Prof Ghafoor Ahmed said that provincial autonomy was right of Balochi people. He urged the government to give the provincial autonomy to all provinces including Balochistan. He further warned that the countrys integrity would be endangered if the issue of Balochistan was not resolved soon. He said that the injustice with Baloch people is tantamount to justice with nation, adding that the people of Balochistan are loyal with the country. Moreover, the Balochis have been deprived of the basic constitutional rights. Despite the natural resources in the province, the people of Balochistan are living in pitiable conditions. He said that the continuous army operation and bombardment in Balochistan had caused lack of confidence in Balochis for the country. On the occasion, JUP Leader Siddique Rathor demanded of the Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry to take immediate notice of the situation of Balochistan and make a judicial trial against the former president General Musharraf. He further declared that government had no right to be there to steer the country, if it did not protect its citizens. NPP leader, Zia Abbas, said that the Government had given the valuable and resourceful lands of the province to multinational companies. People of Balochistan have right on their lands and to ignore their rights will destabilise the country. The political situation of Balochistan will be set aright if the rulers sincerely address the issues of the province and stop using such issues as a political bribe, he added.
