Street crime is on the rise in Karachi. Everyday a couple of people lose their lives resisting a robbery attempt. This could come as a surprise to you but it's true. Streets of Karachi are safe no more for walking. Most of the crime can be described as attempts at mobile snatching. The government, though, has paid no heed to this virulent outbreak and has been doing so for the last five years despite great loss of life.
