Former  President of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and counsel of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Aitzaz Ahsan on Monday said the government will write a letter to Swiss officials, if the Supreme Court (SC) so directed.

Talking to media persons outside the Supreme Court, Aitzaz Ahsan  said that PPP government would respect and implement all the orders of the supreme court.

When reminded that the court had already ordered to do so, the former SCBA President said the letter will be written if the apex court gives 'clear-cut' instructions.

Asked whether he came to the court to move for the adjournment, the Prime Minister's counsel in contempt case said, 'We will not seek the adjournment; instead, we will plead our case before the Apex Court with arguments.
