LAHORE – PML-Q chief, Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain and senior party leader, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi have stressed upon the Pakistani entrepreneurs to invest in Sudan, especially the manufacturers of agriculture machinery.

They expressed these views while talking to the Sudanese Ambassador in Pakistan, Muhammad Al-Shafi who called on them on Sunday.

Both sides discussed matters relating to trade, agriculture and defence and agreed to further strengthen bilateral ties in these fields. They also discussed international and regional issues during the meeting.

Top leaders of PML-Q said that they have close relations with National Congress, the ruling party of Sudan and they desire close ties in all the fields with Khartoum, as both sides bind to each other with the common bond of Islam besides common cultural ties. Shujaat and Pervaiz said that further strengthening of relations between the two Muslim nations would be highly beneficial for the two sides.

Sudanese envoy on this occasion extended an invitation to the PML-Q’s leadership on behalf of his party to visit Sudan by saying that National Congress reserves highest regards for the PML-Q.

Sudanese deputy ambassador, Muhammad Ali Tai, PML-Q leaders, Chaudhary Shafay Hussain, Rasikh Elahi, Chaudhary Salik Hussain and Honorary Council of Sudan, Aleem Adil Sheikh were also present.
