Supreme Commander Hizbul Mujahideen Syed Salah Uddin said on Monday that over 17 separation movements were currently underway in India and it would soon disintegrate because of jihad in Kashmir.

Talking to the journalists here at Darus Salam, he said that Kashmiris were fighting Pakistan’s war in occupied Kashmir. He added that over 0.7 million Indian troops could not defeat Kashmiris and Indian forces would face humiliating defeat because of jihad. He pointed out that Indian occupation forces had so far martyred at least 0.5 million Kashmiris, desecrated masjids and Quran every day, kidnapped and raped women and killed innocent youth but it failed to crush independence movement. “In a situation when 16,000 Kashmiri youths are missing, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s desire to meet his Indian counterpart and forge ties with India disseminate negative message to Kashmiris. It’s heart breaking,” he lamented. He asked Mian Nawaz Sharif not to rub salt on the wounds of poor Kashmiris through his statements.

He pointed out that India had blocked the water of all rivers flowing to Pakistan during his 65 year long illegal occupation and now she was going to turn Pakistan barren by constructing mega dams on Pakistani rivers. He suggested to Mian Nawaz Sharif to come out of American and Indian pressure and interpret the aspirations of Kashmiris by adopting a brave stance on Kashmir issue.
