KASUR-The government is utilising all available resources to provide better medical facilities at hospitals and shortage of doctors and paramedical staff will also be overcome soon. Kasur DCO Ammara Khan stated during a surprise visit to DHQ Hospital here the other day. The DCO went round different wards including emergency ward, cardiology ward, women’s medical ward and dialysis ward and inspected facilities being provided at the hospital. She expressed her displeasure over the poor cleanliness condition in the hospital and directed the officials concerned to ensure cleanliness in the hospital. She also took notice of the non-functional air-condition in the wards and directed the officials to replace all the out of order ACs with the new ones.

The DCO also inspected the hospital’s medicine store and directed that all the medicines must carry hospital stamp to avoid illegal sale in market.

DHQ Hospital MS Dr Muhammad Ashraf Javed and AMS Dr Ziaur Rehman were also present on the occasion.
