Art for Change is an annual competition currently in its 2nd phase. The theme of this year’s competition was “Create a New world of Colors”. More than 2500 art entries were received from more than 15 cities and 100 schools across Pakistan this year. 30 students were given cash prizes whereas trophies were distributed among different schools by the three honorable chief guests. All the prizes were sponsored by ICI Dulux Pakistan.

On this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Jeanette Seppen was pleased to inaugurate the show and expressed the joy of being part of bringing change in Pakistan by supporting such meaningful art projects by youth. She appreciated the wonderful work done by young members of Discovering New Artists for supporting and initiating such creative projects in their society.

Mr. Jehanzeb Khan highly appreciated the efforts made by the young participants and explained how ICI Dulux and DNA both share a common goal; “Art and Colour are two very understated elements of a happy and fulfilled society; people often forget the value of decorated living spaces in their lives. ICI Dulux strongly believes that adding colour to people’s lives is more than just paint on walls. We want to stimulate renewal and positive change in people’s lives; that’s why we are the Lets Colour people. DNA’s initiative promotes this same cause and we are looking forward to supporting similar initiatives by them in the future”.

The audience including all the parents, artists and students really enjoyed looking at the brilliant artwork by innocent participants and mentions that such projects are highly encouraging and are necessary to bring the positive change in the society.
