Islamabad - There will be no clash of interest between Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Local Government system, former Senator and candidate for Chairman Syed Zafar Ali Shah has said.

Talking to this agency, he said that both CDA and local bodies government will work for the welfare of residents of capital within their limits.

He said that there is a big difference between CDA, local government system and CDA employees would not face any difficulty after local government elections.

Zafar Ali Shah said that LB election were being initiated in Islamabad after 60 years and credit goes to the government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).

He said Islamabad is the most important city of the country and after local bodies system its beauty would further increase.

Replying to a question, he said CDA should not demolish allotted kiosks adding that the authority should focus on basic issues of the residents.

He also asked the federal government to announce a public holiday on polling day in Islamabad.
