Chaudhry Ameer Hussain, a former speaker of the National Assembly and leader of the PTI, termed the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) the “B team” of PML-N, alleging that the ECP was fully supporting and patronising ruling party candidates of the local bodies polls here.

Talking to newsmen, he said the ECP was safeguarding the political interest of the PML-N regarding the local bodies elections to be held here on December 5. He said that the government machinery was running the election campaign of the PML-N candidates. However, instead of taking serious notice of the violation of its code of conduct, the ECP had become the “B team” of the PML-N and was patronising PML-N candidates across Sialkot district.

Addressing the party workers at Jinnah House Sialkot, PTI central leaders Umer Dar and Usman Dar said that only PTI had the capability to make Pakistan economically stable by coming to power. They said that now the nation has got an honest and true leader in the shape of Imran Khan, who would steer the country out of crises.

They stated that the next regime of power would be of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf. Earlier, addressing a corner meeting at village Kandan Sayyan-Daska here, Umer Dar said that now, the people had become mature and would not be deceived again by the high claims and lame excuses of bringing betterment by the rulers.

He said that his party would bring all those who plundered the national exchequer to task and recover every plundered penny after coming to power with the power of votes.
