Thousands of Australians descended upon Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on Saturday night as Taylor Swift kicked off the Australian leg of her 1989 world tour. And among the 76,000 dedicated fans were some familiar faces of Australian showbiz, keen to see the 25-year-old Grammy award-winning artist perform her hit tracks Down Under.

Sunrise host Samantha Armytage, Big Brother star Tully Smyth and The Bachelorette’s Sam Frost were some of the famous names singing their hearts out in the crowd.

Taking to Instagram following the incredible concert, 38-year-old Samantha shared a snap of her with Sunrise producer Michael Pell in the audience.

‘Tay Tay,’ the Channel Seven personality simply captioned the black and white filtered image, in which she beamed from ear-to-ear after being in such close proximity to the Shake It Off hitmaker.

Meanwhile, former Big Brother star Tully Smyth rounded up her female friends, bringing along her own girl squad for the concert.

‘My very own bad blood squad... @taylorswift13,’ the reality star tweeted along with a photo of her and her pals. Dressed to impress for the occasion, the blonde beauty sported a black singlet teamed with a printed black and white scarf wrapped around her neck.

Meanwhile, The Bachelorette’s Sam Frost also attended the concert, along with her boyfriend Sasha Mielczarek and her 2Day FM breakfast co-host Rove McManus. While Sam was no doubt relishing the experience, Sasha was quick to tell his Twitter followers he wasn’t familiar with Taylor’s work.
