LAHORE- Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-758 from London crash landed at the Allama Iqbal International Airport today.

The crash landing was caused by the wheels of the plane being jammed, but fortunately all the passengers and crew onboard remained safe. According to airport sources, minor damage was caused to the plane due to the crash landing . Following the incident runway no.2 at the airport has been closed.

Runway no.1 of the airport is closed, after the front wheel axle of a Boeing 737 belonging to Shaheen airline was damaged on Tuesday. However, no injuries or other damages were reported on the plane that was enroute from Karachi to Lahore with 172 passengers.
