LAHORE - A Lahore High Court Division Bench dismissed on Friday appeal of a condemned prisoner and upheld his death sentence for torturing and then putting into fire his two cousins Rabia (4) and Muhammad Sharif (3) in Faisalabad.

On December 22, 2011, a special Anti-Terrorism court had awarded Usman with death sentence to two counts and a fine of Rs200,000 on both counts, besides life imprisonment.

As per details, a mother of two kids after quarrelling with her husband left the house and started living with her parents. She had left her two kids Rabia and Sharif at her husband’s house.

Usman, who was a nephew of kids’ father, came to house and tortured the kids. Later on, he put both of them in fire, which killed them on the spot. On April 5, 2011, police took Usman into custody.
