PESHAWAR - PML-N Charsadda office bearers have resigned over the federal government's alleged failure to address grievances of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and safeguarding only the interests of Punjab.

While addressing a news conference here at the press club here Friday, PML-N Charsadda General Secretary, Sajjad Ali Orakzai, alleged that due to the anti-Pakhtun approach of the incumbent PML-N led federal government a common person was made President of the country ignoring the party's dedicated workers.

He also alleged that from the day one, the government had ignored party interests in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and knowingly let other parties form government there.  

Owrakzai along with dozens of other office bearers at tehsil and union council level, including Shabqadar President Aftab Ahmad Mohmand, UC Shabqadar President Subhanullah, and Youth Wing president announced their resignation from the party's basic membership in protest.

They criticized the PTI-led provincial and PML-N led federal governments for their alleged failure to provide basic amenities to the IDPs at their camps.
