Public Schools across district Nankana Sahib showed marvelous output in the Secondary School Certificate examination held in 2015 as compared to previous year, said EDO Education Iftikhar Hassan Butt. He was chairing a post-result meeting of the head teachers here the other day.

The EDO Education said that total candidates appeared in SSC exam 2015 from public schools of the district were 6,609, out of which 5,172 declared as pass with the passing percentage of 78.26 percent while BISE Lahore result percentage was 70.18 per cent. On the other hand, in previous year total 5,316 candidates were appeared, of which 3,937 were declared pass with a percentage of 74.06 percent. He claimed that increased number of 1,293 candidates appeared in SSC exam 2015 was a remarkable figure with passing percentage of 78.26 percent.

On the occasion, he congratulated the head teachers on notable improvement in results and increase in number of appearing candidates. He pated on the back of those head teachers whose students showed exceptional performance with individual marks in SSC exam 2015 including GHS No-2 Sangla Hill Principal Tahir Ghafoor, GHS No-1 Shahkot Principal Zulfiqar Ali, GGHSS Shahkot Principal Taslim Tayyab, GHSS Randhir Chak 13 Principal M Zahid, Muhammad GHS Buckeki Headmaster Sadiq, GHS Kot Headmaster Zulfikar Ali Tahir, GGHS Bhullair Headmistress Farkhanda Jabeen and GHS MC Nankana Sahib Principal Mirza M Salim.
