Civil Society Network (CSN) Sustainable Development Association (SDA) and High Aims Desert Welfare Society (HADWS) jointly brought out a rally to express solidarity with of Pakistan Army here the other day.

The participants of rally led by Malik Ghazanfar Wadhal, Sardar Ali Hussain Khan, Rana Khalid Mehmood, Noor Din, Kashif Sohail and Shaheela Nasir paraded on Noorpur Jarmali Road and reached Tehsil Chowk after passing through main roads.

A large number of civil society activists, lawyers, students, traders and social workers participated in the rally. The participants of the rally chanted slogans against terrorists and extremists.

Speaking on the occasion, Malik Ghazanfar Wadhal, Malik Sher Rasool Borana and others said that the entire nation stood united against terrorists. They added that the nation was proud of army and its sacrifices. They warned that Pakistanis would not flinch from offering any sacrifice to defeat terrorists and maintain peace in the country. They anticipated that the day was not far when last terrorist would be eliminated. The speakers said that there was no doubt to say the armed forces of Pakistan have full capabilities to weed out terrorism from the country. They maintained that the whole nation stands united against terrorism and was ready to sacrifice even their lives while battling against terrorism and defending every inch of the motherland shoulder-to-shoulder the armed forces. They said that operation Zarb-e-Azab had broken the backbone of the terrorists in the country, as the ongoing anti-terrorism operation was meeting with great success. “Altaf Hussain had attempted to incite people for violence against Pakistan Army in his speech with bad intent,” they added. “This act is treason with the country, nation and army,” they said. They further said that the army was fighting against anti-Pakistan elements and terrorist in the country besides safeguarding national frontiers. The speakers added that the army extended services at all those spots where district and provincial departments failed during emergencies. They stressed that stern action should be taken against MQM Chief for badmouthing against the national institutions.
