KARACHI (PPI) - The officials of Health Department in the Sindh Assembly Public Accounts Committee meeting on Friday were completely stumped for words when PAC members sought production of records and explanation over non-recovery of huge amount of Rs59.762 million in the audit paras of three years. PAC Chairman Jam Tamachi Unar, who presided over the meeting, directed the secretary to write letters to the Chief Minister, the Governor and the health minister to enquire the health officials’ reasons for non-adjustment of huge outstanding dues of the government and streamline the working of the department.
