RAWALPINDI  - Traders, commuter and citizens have demanded construction of parking plaza in Commercial Market, Satellite Town, to avoid intense traffic mess generated due to wrong parking.

They said that all the passages to market are blocked due to disorderly-parked vehicles. “There is no safe place to park vehicle in the market”, said a group of vehicle owners. They said that stallholders encroached at least 15 feet area in front of their stalls due which even pedestrians could not walk easily. They appealed the government to construct parking plaza for the smooth flow of traffic inside the market.

Meanwhile, parents have expressed grave concern over next to nil attendance of teachers at the government Boys Secondary School in Chaklala village.

They said that the teachers don’t pay any heed to conduct classes and teach the students. “My son goes to school daily but he spends all the time in playing with his class fellows and he is gaining nothing in terms of knowledge”, said a resident of the area.    “Teachers only attend the school on pay day and they remain absent whole month it seemed that they have been employed in the school only to get salaries”, said a group of residents.

The parents appealed to the concerned department to take action against the teachers and to issue directive in this regard.
