KARACHI - Sindh Rangers Director General Maj Gen Rizwan Akhtar on Friday called on Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah at the CM House.

He discussed law and order situation prevailing in the province particularly in Karachi. He said that Rangers was performing its duties devotedly for strict maintenance of law and order.

He added that culprits and miscreants are being apprehended under law and with coordinated efforts of Ranges, police and other LEAs, with the result the peaceful atmosphere was maintained promptly yesterday.

Qaim stressed upon DG Rangers to have strict vigilance on the activities of criminals and miscreants indulged in disturbing the peace of the City. He hoped that with prompt liaison, coordination and strict measures by all law enforcement agencies, the security situation would be improved.

The CM stressed that patrolling of LEAs be enhanced and strict watch be ensured in disturbed areas. Various other issues were also discussed in the meeting.
