LAHORE – The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) to collaborate with Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), Thailand and Concern International through National Disaster Management Authority for implementation of Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) programme, says a press release.  This understanding was reached in a visit of a delegation of ADPC and Concern International at the Emergency Services Academy. The delegation included experts from Thailand, Srilanka and Concern International.

 The Director General Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Dr. Rizwan Naseer explained the working of Rescue 1122 emergency management system which includes Emergency Ambulance, Rescue & Fire Services and Community Emergency Response Teams through which Rescue 1122 had managed over 1.2 million emergencies while maintaining its average response time and standard in all Districts of Punjab.
