KARACHI - Four people were killed in various violent incidents here on Saturday.

A man was killed while his brother wounded in a targeted attack at sector 11, Orangi Town within the remits of Pakistan Bazaar police station.

Police said that victim Imran Abbasi was present at his shop when some unidentified motorcyclists came and shot him multiple times. Irfan Abbasi, brother of the victim, was standing near the shop. He tried to protect his brother but the assailants shot him twice and managed to flee. Both the victims were transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced the death of Imran and admitted Irfan with critical bullet wounds. Police have yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder.

In another targeted attack, some gunmen riding a motorbike shot dead a security guard within the remits of Sachal police station. Police said Sima Khan was a security guard area market where gunmen reached and shot him multiple times and managed to flee.

Jamshaid Quarter police found a shot dead tortured body near the Lyari Expressway.

Police said some unidentified gunmen men picked up the victim from unknown area and kept him for torture before throwing his shot dead body at the said place. Police shifted the body to morgue for identification after autopsy at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

A man killed his ex-wife in the remits of Baloch Colony police station.

Police said that Kosar Banu was divorced by Wali Eman three years ago. She reached to meet her children at Wali’s home where both of them were scuffled over some personal issue and Wali shot her multiple times. Police arrested the accused and registered a case.
