PESHAWAR – The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) exchanged priority lists of candidates to pave way for seat adjustment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the upcoming general elections to be held on May 11.

Both political parties were agreed to exchange priority lists consisting party intending workers’ names for national and provincial assembly seats to reach at a decision.

If both the parties agreed upon their priority lists will have seat adjustment in the province which will be announced in couple of days.  

To have talks on seat adjustment a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led by party Central Secretary General Iqbal Zafar Jehgra visited Al-Markaz Islami and met the JI Provincial Ameer Prof Ibrahim, Provincial General Secretary Shabir Ahmad Khan and Provincial Naib Ameer Mushtaq Ahmad Khan where they discussed maters pertaining to seat adjustment and finally exchanged priority lists, on Saturday.

In the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) delegation besides party central GS Jehgra, Peshawar President Abdul Satar and Col (Retd) Sher Afgan Khan were took part.
