SARGODHA - The most interesting electoral contest will be held between PPP former parliamentary secretary Aslam Madhiana and 70-year-old school teacher Nafees Khan who was allegedly tortured by the former eight months ago.

Nafees Khan told the media that he had decided to participate in the election to defend oppressed community of the society. He argued that at least 48 cases were filed against his opponent and he would file objections against him to the returning officer for his disqualification.

On the other hand, Aslam Madhiana said that he would not file any objection against anyone, adding that he had presented himself in the court of public. It is pertinent to mention here that Nafees Khan termed Aslam Madhiana a local feudal and the grandmother of thieves in an open court of DPO Sargodha at Midh Ranjha.

After that Nafees Khan was thrashed in a bazaar and his both legs were fractured by some armed assailants.

As a result, the former PPP lawmaker was arrested and he spent several months in the District Jail in a case registered by Nafees Khan at Midh Ranjha police.
