RAWALPINDI - Strong Pakistan Army team was held to a goalless draw by the resilient Navy in the Eighth Pakistan Premier Football League match here at the Rawalpindi Municipal Stadium on Sunday. Army started the match on a high pace and created too many goal scoring chances but Navy defence denied Army forwards efforts and kept them at bay. Army could have taken lead in the early stages of the first half but heir forwards missed too many easy chances which proved the turning point of the match as the first half ended 0-0. Navy team which started the second half brightly and could have scored in the second minute after but Army goalie sensing the danger clear the ball before it crosses the goal line. That proved first and the last real goal opportunity which the Navy forwards managed to create in the match.
